I (Shane) left public and industry accounting in order to do the work I love most: helping business owners and non-profits thrive. Whether providing periodic bookkeeping services, outsourced Controller & CFO services, or just helping with year-end pre-audit review, I am in my element while working with my clients and pride myself on the value I provide.

 

I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the great state of New Hampshire. I have many years of experience advising and operating small businesses and non-profit organizations. Having been on the audit, tax, and internal sides of the accounting world, I am able to apply that experience to any business.

Catherine recently left her role in private industry accounting at a healthcare software company to join SCMAS, LLC. She has over years of experience in audit, tax, and internal accounting. She leads the team on bookkeeping and tax preparation while Shane focuses on consulting and contract work.

We are small business owners ourselves, and understand the significant role businesses play in the life of their owners. Not just accountants, we also have both a short-term and long-term rental property business that keep us busy and away from the debits and credits!

We live in beautiful Concord, NH with our daughter. We spend our time away from Excel skiing, playing tennis, reading on the front porch, and enjoying time with friends and family.
